'It was the best day ever' - SEEAT Sports

'It was the best day ever' according to one of our pupils at The Westborough School.

Recently we held our first SEEAT Sports event at The Deanes with Year 4 pupils from across our primaries taking part in Olympics themed activities led by pupils from our secondary schools: The Deanes, Westcliff High School for Girls and Cornelius Vermuyden.

We worked in conjunction with CPRSSP who provide sporting opportunities for pupils in Castle Point and Rochford. Their Sports Leaders provided our 6 teams - all named after a famous British Olympian - with activities related to the Olympics.

We also ran a parallel literacy competition - congratulations to Poppy Hubbard from Rochford Primary School for her winning entry.
