A Westcliff Win

The Greenpower Racing Team at Westcliff High School for Girls had a win and two second places in May. This was from a field of 25 cars and is the first time they have won in their three years of racing - competition is fierce! This was achieved at East Fortune, near Edinburgh.

The team at WHSG has expanded over the years and now comprises around 40 pupils. Great credit goes to WHSG staff member Anneliese Attack, who founded the team and enabled the development of the car, assisted by Luigi Bortone, and completed the 9-hour drive up to Edinburgh. The team has many rounds to go but has already qualified for the national finals.
