Changes to Ofsted welcomed by SEEAT's CEO

Our CEO, Andrew Cooper, was featured in the Echo at the start of term, welcoming Government plans to reform Ofsted inspections.

“Like many of my colleagues in education, I have been concerned for some time about Ofsted’s overall judgements because it’s very difficult to reduce everything that a school does to a single-word description. Schools are much more complex organisations than that,” he said.

“All of us who work in schools, and in the public sector, expect to be held to account for the work we do but a more intelligent model of accountability which better represents the many things that go on in schools would be much more useful to parents."
